    ISR international camp in Scotland

It is the event no socialist will want to miss!

Come and join 150 young socialists from all around Europe!

ISR members and supporters from around Europe will camp and participate in all aspects of the G8 counter summit

Join us!

March with us!

Discuss with us!

ISR is also co-organising an international youth camp from 1-6 July with the International Socialists, the Scottish affiliate to the Committee for Workers' International (CWI).  We have booked a 4-star campsite in Strathclyde National Park with toilets, hot showers and cooking facilities.  Food is included in the price (see below).

Every morning we will hold a briefing meeting to discuss the previous days activities and to agree plans for the day.  We will keep a coach with us to ferry us to and from the different places where actions have been called such as Faslane and Dungarvel detention centre.

We are proposing some debates and workshops at the camp.  After all 150 socialists will have plenty to talk about!

  Monday 4th of July

 - Why French and Dutch workers voted NO!

An evening rally on what happens now for Europe after the defeated referenda

- Workshops in the afternoon on

a) 1905 revolution – when workers gained a glimpse of power

b) Music and politics – do we only hear the master’s voice?

c) Women in struggle.

  Tuesday 5th of July

- debate with the Scottish Socialist Party – the struggle for socialism today

- Workshops in the afternoon on

a) Education under attack across Europe.  Plan the fight back – with speakers from each country

b) Can we plan green growth?  What socialists say about the environment.

So you can see there will be plenty to do as well as football, Frisbee and music!
