ISR is co-organising a national conference with Socialist Students with whom we campaign in the universities on Saturday March 4 in Conway Hall in London.  The nearest tube is Holborn on the central and Piccadilly line.

We will be discussing issues that affect us in our day to day lives such as top-up fees, low pay, shortage of decent affordable housing and the complete lack of decent youth facilities in most areas.

We will also be looking at some of the international issues facing our generation such as the war and occupation in Iraq, the crisis of climate change and world poverty. 

We hope to have as much time for all who attend to have their say but we will also have speakers from the Bolivian Solidarity Campaign to report on the massive upheaval and the elections taking place there; eye-witness report from the World Social Forum in Venezuela where the president Hugo Chavez is calling for a socialist revolution; leading youth trade unionists, representatives of the Jean Charles de Menezes family campaign and an anti-fascist campaigner from Belgium.
